We welcome renowned historian and chef Dontavius Williams of the Chronicles of Adam to discuss and demonstrate 19th Century Southern Foodways. This program will give visitors a unique and rare opportunity to learn about southern foodways and chat with Dontavius as he shares his cooking and historical knowledge.
The day will also include blacksmith demonstrations in our smithy, open hearth cooking, and the 1815 Rosedale house will be open for self guided tours.
This event takes place rain or shine – no refunds will be given. Tickets will be available on the day of the event or you can purchase tickets online and bring proof of your receipt (on your phone or printed) on the day of the event for a contactless experience. The receipt will serve as your ticket. No other tickets will be issued.
