HISTORIC ROSEDALE HOUSE

Please click the green button above to view our calendar for available tours and events at Charlotte’s oldest frame home. Guided House Tours are given Wednesday – Friday and most Saturdays at 11:30am and 1:30pm. (Allow one hour for tours.) We encourage you to arrive early so you can enjoy the nearly 9 acres of grounds.

The house is four floors which are accessed via stairs both on the interior and exterior.

THE ROSEDALE GARDENS AND GROUNDS

The grounds and gardens are open Wednesday – Friday and most Saturdays from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Please consider wearing comfortable shoes as the grounds are accessed via gravel paths and grassy areas.

The gate closes promptly at 3:00pm.

HISTORIC ROSEDALE FOUNDATION

The Historic Rosedale Foundation supports the mission and vision of Historic Rosedale. Our staff is generally in the office Tuesday – Friday, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.

DIRECTIONS

Historic Rosedale is located at 3427 North Tryon Street in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Center City Charlotte is three miles to our south.  The University City area is six miles to our north. Charlotte-Douglas International Airport is eleven miles to our west.  And the NoDa neighborhood is three blocks away.

Are you driving to Historic Rosedale?  There is plenty of parking.

If you’re here for a conference, or you’re between flights, there are plenty of transportation options.  You can reach us via taxi, Uber or Lyft, as well as the CATS transit system and light rail.
