Quilts and Crafts Display

Saturday, May 7th, 10:30 am to 2:00 pm

In celebration of the We Built This exhibit and Black craftsmanship, join quilt artist Naomi Rankin and other quilters as they display handmade quilts of all sizes along with other Afro-centric handcrafted items for sale. Local artisans onsite from both North and South Carolina.  Historically, quilts have long been used to tell stories. Before  Emancipation, they were also used to send messages. Many quilts are beautifully crafted from leftover and found scraps of fabric.

Tickets for this event are $5.00 each and include admission to the Historic Rosedale grounds and gardens as well as the display. Ticket does not include admission to the Rosedale house and the We Built This exhibit.
