Guided Holiday Tours of our 1815 Federal style House
With the holiday season fast approaching, Historic Rosedale is excited to offer guided holiday tours of our 1815 house in December! As home to the Frew, Caldwell, and Davidson families for almost 200 years, Rosedale has experienced numerous joys and sorrows at this season. Come walk through rooms decorated in a variety of Christmases past: a Victorian Christmas dinner in the Great Hall, a 1940’s wartime Christmas in the family parlor, the master bedroom decked in period mourning commemorating residents who passed at the holidays, and our cellar kitchen sharing traditions of the African-American community at Rosedale. Tours end with light holiday refreshments available in the cellar kitchen (included with your ticket).
Historic Rosedale Member’s Special: Bring a friend for only $10.00!
This event takes place rain or shine – no refunds will be given. Please purchase your tickets online and bring proof of your receipt (on your phone) on the day of the event for a contactless experience – this receipt will serve as your ticket. No other tickets will be issued. Ticket prices include NC sales tax.
