Haunted History – April

Friday, April 15

7:00 – 8:00 pm (gates open at 6:30 for check-in)

On Tax Day, it seems ironic that one of our first residents at Rosedale (and quite likely, one of our resident ghosts) was a tax collector himself who died on this day in 1823.  Come join Historic Rosedale staff along with members of the Charlotte Paranormal Society to hear tales of our tax collector Archibald Frew and other spirits who have chosen to remain behind. The full haunted history tour will be held outside in the gardens and grounds surrounding our historic 1815 house and reconstructed blacksmith shop. Spaces for this storytelling experience tour are limited for a personal yet properly social distanced experience – and to prevent any guests from being left behind as lingering souls themselves! Appropriate for ages 8 years and above.

This event takes place rain or shine – no refunds will be given. This is not a Ghost Hunt. Please purchase your tickets online and bring proof of your receipt (on your phone) on the night of the event for a contactless experience – this receipt will serve as your ticket. No other tickets will be issued.

The gates open 30 minutes prior to the tour time. Check in will take place just inside the main gate.
